A BOPP Tape Shear Tester evaluates the shear adhesion strength of pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tapes. It measures how well a tape resists slipping under a constant load applied parallel to its surface. This is crucial for ensuring that BOPP packing tapes effectively hold carton flaps in place without failing. This equipment can also be used for PSA Labels if they undergo shear stresses in field applications.

Shear Tester

This is an equipment to test the Static Shear or Shear Adhesion Test of Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) Tapes and Labels.

 Shear Strength is a measure of the ability of PSA tape to remain adhered under a constant load applied parallel to the surface of the tape and substrate.

 BOPP Packing Tapes are used to close the flaps of Corrugated Cartons. The flaps have a tendency to spring back and open up. The tape tries to hold back the flaps in position. If the shear strength of the tape is poor, it will not be able to hold on to the flaps and the end result is open cartons.

      Domestic (India) customers will have the option of Freight To-Pay / Freight Prepaid.

      Export (Outside - India) customer will have the option of Freight Prepaid or their can collect on their own Courier Account with UPS / DHL / FEDEX, etc.

      Product Warranty

      Unless otherwise specified in the description, all products and accessories (excluding consumables and spares) manufactured / sold by us are covered under a standard 12 month warranty period. 

      The warranty is "Ex-Factory" or "Back-to-Bench", meaning the product or defective part will have to be sent back to us for repair or replacement. To and Fro Freight / Courier charges are to be borne by the buyer. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and not misuse or any other damages.
