Instant Paper Moisture Meter (Delmhorst PX30)
The Paper Moisture Meter by Delmhorst, is an electrical resistance-type moisture meter, utilizing the relationship between moisture and electrical resistance.
The contact pins mounted on the top of the meter are used for making direct contact with the material.
The Instant Moisture Meter is especially useful for testing paper, paperboard, corrugated stock, and paper tubes / paper cores.
It is ideal for plant superintendents, inspectors, buyers and salespeople.

Note : Instant Moisture Meter (of any brand / make) should be used for approximation only. These devices measure the electrical resistance between the contact points (probes), hence they will measure only the maximum moisture % at contact point. If you use any Flat Probe Type unit, it will show the Surface Moisture only. If your use any Pin Probe Type Instant Moisture Meter, it will show the maximum moisture across the point of penetration. NO MOISTURE METER IN THE WORLD can show the “MOISTURE CONTENT” of the sample Paper / Board, etc.
The Surface Moisture / Instant Moisture readings will vary from the Moisture Content value of the sample. This instrument is OK for quick checks under stabilized conditions for testing paper.
For the most authentic Moisture Content analysis, use a Moisture Oven or Moisture Analyser which works on the LOSS ON DRYING principle and is the only recommended method as per TAPPI standards.
DQ/IQ/OQ Documentation are NOT available for this equipment.

Prices (if mentioned) on our website DO NOT INCLUDE Delivery / Freight Charges.
Domestic (India) customers will have the option of Freight To-Pay / Freight Prepaid.
Export (Outside - India) customer will have the option of Freight Prepaid or their can collect on their own Courier Account with UPS / DHL / FEDEX, etc.
If you want Freight Prepaid, let us know after receiving the quotation. We will add delivery charges and resend the offer.
Product Lead Time
Lead Time mentioned in the description is a tentative timeline for us to dispatch the product. Please consider additional days for transit period by courier / freight agency. This timeline is on "Best Effort" basis.
Sometimes there can be a delay due to unforseen circumstances beyond our normal control. Delays if any will be intimated to you at the time of ordering.
Product Warranty
Unless otherwise specified in the description, all products and accessories (excluding consumables and spares) manufactured / sold by us are covered under a standard 12 month warranty period.
The warranty is "Ex-Factory" or "Back-to-Bench", meaning the product or defective part will have to be sent back to us for repair or replacement. To and Fro Freight / Courier charges are to be borne by the buyer. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and not misuse or any other damages.
