Cone Compression Tester

Cone Compression Tester or Cone Collapsing Strength Tester is used to test the collapsing strength (CS) or crushing force of a Paper Cone.

Cones are used to wind textile yarn. The winding tension of the yarn creates a squeezing / crushing force acting radially inwards on the cone.

Poor quality cones, collapse inwards under this stress.
