Pouch Press Tester
A pouch press tester, also known as a static load tester, is used to evaluate the seal integrity of liquid or paste-filled pouches when subjected to external compressive force.

Unlike a pouch compression tester, which performs both static and dynamic load tests, the pouch press tester is designed specifically for static load testing, but can also perform the dynamic load test if needed.

Pouch Press Tester / Static Load Tester
Suitable for Static Load Test on Liquid Filled pouches.
Test Type : Press till Load Setpoint. Hold till Time Setpoint.
In this method, the sample is compressed upto a preset Load. The applied force is held on the pouch for preset time. After the times elapses, the machine returns to the original position.
This equipment is primarily meant for Static Load Test on Liquid Filled pouches.
However it can also be used to perform Dynamic Load Test is some cases.

Static Load
- Select Static Load Test
- Define Test Targets (Load and Hold Time)
- Place Sample.
- Press Start to begin test.
- Upon reaching preset load, the machine will hold position. A timer starts automatically.
- Upon completion of hold time, the machine reverses automatically.
Dynamic Load
- Select Dynamic Load Test
- Place Sample.
- Press Start to begin test.
- As soon as the sample bursts, the machine stops and reverses automatically.
- Note : Auto-Stop facility may not work for thin samples (very low fill volume).
Note : The Static Load Test is done as per test specifications detailed in point # 4.1.2 of Chapter 4 of the “Flexible Retort Pouch Defects – Identification & Classification” by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
As per Canadian Food Inspection Agency, retort pouches should comply with the static load burst test. You will have to press the pouch with a force of 7.5 kg per 15mm of inner seal perimeter and hold this force for 15 seconds. If the pouch leaks or bursts or even if the seals show signs of stress during this period, the batch is considered failed.

Domestic (India) customers will have the option of Freight To-Pay / Freight Prepaid.
Export (Outside - India) customer will have the option of Freight Prepaid or their can collect on their own Courier Account with UPS / DHL / FEDEX, etc.

Product Warranty
Unless otherwise specified in the description, all products and accessories (excluding consumables and spares) manufactured / sold by us are covered under a standard 12 month warranty period.
The warranty is "Ex-Factory" or "Back-to-Bench", meaning the product or defective part will have to be sent back to us for repair or replacement. To and Fro Freight / Courier charges are to be borne by the buyer. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and not misuse or any other damages.
